In this Profit Maximiser review, I take a look at the first matched betting service I ever used.

Back when I was a regular punter, I was fed up of essentially giving my money to the bookmakers.

Whether that was placing stupid 15 team accumulators or placing bigger bets on hot favourites only to see them fall at the last hurdle. I’d had enough.

After many disappointments that all gamblers experience time and time again, I asked myself: Does anyone actually win from betting other than the bookmakers?

I decided to stop any form of gambling and see what I could find.

I found some interesting stories of how people were making money using bonuses offered by bookmakers.

When digging deeper, I stumbled across Profit Maximiser, I sceptically signed up for a trial.

Profit Maximiser is widely considered as the original complete matched betting service.

It was created in 2013 by Mike Cruickshank.

Mike already had a popular service, called Bonus Bagging, that helped members profit from bookmaker’s new account offers.

However, he noticed a gap in the matched betting market.

The aim of Profit Maximiser was to find ongoing bookmaker offers, and teach members how to profit from them.

The existence of Profit Maximiser led to many people being able to make a regular monthly income from matched betting.

It’s also interesting that the Owner of Profit Accumulator, and also several staff members at Oddsmonkey were, according to Mike Cruickshank, students of his.

They were all once paying members of Profit Maximiser before starting rival services.

So, does that mean the oldest service is better than the rest?

In this Profit Maximiser review, I’ll look at whether that’s the case or not.

Training Videos: Learning The Basics

Here you’ll find all the bookmaker and casino training videos you need to get started.

The videos are a little lengthy but very detailed.

Mike (the owner) basically goes through each strategy and talks you through the process as you watch his screen.

Beginners will take a lot from the videos, and should spend the time watching each one suggested before moving on.

This software helps find the best value bets by displaying real-time bookmaker odds vs betting exchange odds.

Members will learn how to use the Odds Software in detail from the start.

This tool is essential in helping complete the Bookmaker new account offers. 

I personally prefer the Profit Maximiser Odds Software over other rival odds matching tools.

This is mainly because I started with this, so have simply become accustomed to it.

I think it’s very clear, easy to learn and user friendly.

Clicking on the ‘i’ symbol opens up a matched betting calculator.

The Calculator also has a clear and clean look to it.

It’s easy to toggle between bet modes and simple to adjust stake or odd values.

The Profit Maximiser Facebook Group: The Best Matched Betting Forum?

The Profit Maximiser Forum is in the form of a private Facebook group.

As a member, I’ve noticed some people moan that there should be a separate dedicated Forum. I disagree.

I prefer that the Forum is only on Facebook.

It’s quick and easy to access on your phone and on an app that you regularly use through the day.

As a result, you don’t miss notifications and you keep up to date with the latest offers and conversation.

The Profit Maximiser Facebook Group is definitely a case of quality over quantity.

Compared to some rival’s Forums, it’s much smaller.

However, there are many Profit Maximiser members who do matched betting full time.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to consume quality advice from the most experienced matched bettors.

Furthermore, Mike Cruickshank (the owner) is active and helpful within the group on a daily basis.

In addition to the Calendar, offers are posted by members and Mike as and when they are discovered

For members wanting to take matched betting to the next level, there is more open talk of advanced high-risk casino offers.

Other matched betting sites shy away from these offers because of their high-risk nature.

These offers are, however, very profitable but only suitable for experienced members with a good bankroll.

Pricing

To become a member of Profit Maximiser, the annual fee is £116.40 (£97 + VAT).

There isn’t a free trial or pay monthly option.

However, you can try Profit Maximiser for £1, which will give you 14 days full access. 

If I was new to matched betting, I would take the £1 trial option.

I would aim to complete four or five Bookmaker new account offers within 14 days.

That would roughly cover the annual membership fee before paying for it.

Alternatively, the Profit Maximiser membership comes with a ‘no questions asked’ 30-day guarantee.

Keep in mind that you don’t qualify for the 30-day refund if you choose the 14 day trial for £1.

Profit Maximiser Review 2022: Final Thoughts

Overall, Profit Maximiser is a quality service at a great price.

It provides all you need for completing new account and daily ongoing matched betting offers.

Members will find it easy to make their annual membership fee back within the first month. And much more if they put in the time and effort.

That said, a few things let the service down.

Profit Maximiser lacks the complete and professional feel you get with rival services.

Furthermore, you have to purchase add ons to access tools for advanced matched betting strategies.

Superior tools (in my opinion) that are equivalent to these are included in the Oddsmonkey and Profit Accumulator memberships.

For this reason, the Profit Maximiser review rating takes a hit.

However, what makes Profit Maximiser unique for me, is the knowledge available in the private Facebook group and the owner’s commitment to finding high-value casino offers.

For those two reasons, I remain a member of Profit Maximiser.
